Equality begins in-utero

Equality begins in the womb. A human fetus is both alive and human—a human life. If your worth is determined by whether you’re wanted, how developed you are, how small you are, how “conscious” you are, etc.—then your worth comes not from a Creator; it’s not inherent in you, but is merely bestowed upon you by other humans. That is the basis for every single human rights violation known to man. It is the same logic that “justified” slavery—“they’re not fully human,” “they don’t know the difference,” “we can’t succeed economically without this practice,” “we’re doing them a favor,” etc.
