Fishing Marathon Florida with Subscribers | Catch Clean Cook

I head to Marathon Florida to do some fishing with subscribers. It was a rough day and there is puke involved but nonetheless it turned into a great Marathon Fishing Catch Clean Cook. Catch and Cook time!

So this is actually my first time Fishing Marathon. So I had my fingers majorly crossed that this fishing with subscribers trip would turn into a Catch Clean Cook. Because after all my subscribers are here for the catch AND cook!

For those subscribers that don't know.. Marathon Florida is a Florida Key about an hour south of Key Largo. Marathon is actually more like 1.5 hours south of Key Largo right next to the 7 mile bridge.

So we start the day and head offshore out of Marathon Florida to do some Offshore fishing. First we stop at the Patch Reefs and do some patch reef fishing. Also to catch some live bait. Since this is my first time Fishing Marathon I don't have any spots so fingers crossed we find bait. I can't look bad fishing with subscribers or how will I ever get more subscribers! haha

Ok we do catch fish. We catch live bait and even a small grouper. Time to go offshore fishing. It's wavy and rough so we can't do any offshore trolling but we do offshore bottom drifting. We do find some fish. We lose the first fish! There goes the catch n cook! Oh man so close!

It's not long before we catch fish! We get a king mackerel in the boat and a yellowtail snapper. Yes! Looks like Fishing Marathon isn't a complete bust and there will be a Catch and cook. We head back to the dock and do the Catch Clean Cook part of the show.

We cook fish and have a great time with subscribers. Ok maybe I will get more subscribers after all! I hope you enjoyed this catch clean cook, I had a great time with great people Fishing Marathon Florida.
