With lobster being in season again it's only right to do a lobster catch and cook. Caitlyn and I run out of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and head south of Key Largo for this lobster catch and cook. We also plan on doing some spearfishing while looking for lobster. Remember you can not spearfish inside the John Pennekamp coral reef state park boundaries. To spearfish you have to be 3 miles from shore and south of Molasses Reef tower.

After I catch 2 lobster I go back to the boat to chum to hopefully get a snapper behind the boat for some spearfishing action. This is when the federal Game Warden comes up boarding my boat and checking our lobster. As expected all the lobster I have on my boat are legal and ready to become a lobster catch clean cook. The Florida Keys are going to be smelling great this mini season!

There's something about Key Largo lobster that is just so juicy and always makes for a great catch and cook. I love to melt butter on my lobster tails. And don't forget the snapper I caught while spearfishing. This will also be part of the Key Largo catch and cook.

The game warden here in Key Largo ended up being really friendly guys and were very fast at inspecting my vessel. It didn't take long before I was back and focused on my Key Largo catch clean cook with the lobster we catch!
