Is the "System" Marginalizing Blacks or are Blacks Marginalizing Themselves?

Many times, Black Americans spend a lot of time talking about how they are marginalized by a system of white supremacy, but I am curious to know if they realize that a lot of the marginalization they speak of is self inflicted. Take a listen to understand what I mean.
