We left California city life for life in the country of Texas. This country life is not for the faint of heart. There are thorn trees, weeds, snakes, coyotes, packrats, chiggers, spiders, fire ants, and many other challenges to overcome like mud, high winds and tornado warnings, buckets of rain, hail, extreme heat and humidity, to freezing temperatures and snow. Everything is bigger in Texas.
