Lies Told Before the Board Have Statewide Consequences-AB969 Skips Appropriations

Shasta ROV Cathy Allen came up with an outrageous hand count budget of 1.6 million dollars to hand count elections. She did this to propel her political agenda. The budget was not properly scrutinized at the local level and as a result the Senate Appropriations committee went ahead and used Cathy Allen's bloated budget to state that mandating voting machines in California will cost less than 50K a year.

Call and write your senators and assembly members, urge them to "Oppose AB 969"
