Short View - Arcana (SNES)

A short video on my experience with Arcana.

Arcana is a dungeon crawl type RPG. It's very stiff and rigid with extremely questionable translations. The balance of the game is additionally questionable, however, it is fairly balanced in it's equipment and magic stats. The game shines in it's music scores that are fairly catchy. Aside from being a fairly basic dungeon-crawl type game, it's not that bad overall in style, and is a good pick up and play for 40 minutes until you get bored, type of game.

The story is pretty basic: you are a young man and the only "Card Master" in the world. Your enemy "Gnaelon" or something like that is trying to revive the evil empress. You must gather 4 spirits and 3 treasures to stop him. That's the basic gist of it.
