The Movie That Made Godzilla Scary Again

The Return of Godzilla is a 1984 monster movie directed by Koji Hoshimoto. It is a direct sequel to the 1954 film ignoring every other Showa entry and rebooting the franchise. This was a darker and more nuclear focused movie that made the radioactive dinosaur scary again. Here he is both an animal and a force of nuclear power with both the USSR and the United States getting involved in order to stop him.
