Milwaukee may have public transportation, but there are still areas of the city that suffer from transportation deserts. 1 in 4 Americans suffer from transportation insecurity, whereas 12.5% of Americans suffer from food insecurity. Transportation deserts in Milwaukee County are also commonly areas with a high POC population.
