What do numbers mean in dreams?

Numbers can present themselves in different ways, either in a raw form or maybe you dream of 2 of something or 5 of something else. I learnt that numbers reflect this physical realm, as if this physical realm is built on numbers or did we look for a mathematical construct and find one.
