Barbie is about to open, and fully expected to defeat Oppenheimer at the boxoffice. The wind that is expected to give Mattel in the sails, is likely the reason why industry trade Variety only now revealed that the live action He-Man reboot is no longer happening at Netflix.

This variety article has a number of anomolies though, which together, do not paint a pretty picture where the future prospects of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe are concerned...
