This chapter has been about the Edomites, the children who came from Esau and the people who lived in Edom! They lived in the land of Edom and were chiefs of different parts of the land! Today we’re going to read Genesis 36:40-43 and make signs for every member of your family and place them on the doors to their rooms! The sign will say “Chief name” and everyone in your family should have a sign in front of their door! Then see how many chiefs there are and how many different “rooms” they occupy!

These were the chiefs descended from Esau, by name, according to their clans and regions: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs according to their settlements in the land they occupied. This is the family line of Esau, the father of the Edomites.
