The 2 Reasons I'm Running For Congress - EP422

No guest this Friday. I'll explain in detail the 2 reasons I'm running for New York's District 3 for Congress in 2024.

The seat I'm running for is currently occupied by George Santos, who is awaiting trial for Fraud, Money Laundering, Theft of Public Funds, and False Statements.
Ergo my campaign slogan, You Voted For Worse!

I'm attempting to run a ZERO funds campaign. I'm not taking any money. I'm not spending any money, beyond the nickels and dimes that occupy my pockets after a night of gigging with the band.
My hope is to highlight the stupid, wasteful, pay-for-play system, where your vote is just a tool to get special interest money to representatives that will pass legislation for those special interests and NOT YOUR INTERESTS!

The other thing I want to shine a light on is that Congress is NOT DOING THE JOB you elected them to do. Every day we see televised dog and pony hearings which serve only as an audition to get on primetime cable TV that night. NONE of them can be working on the things you care about while constantly seeking face time on TV and social media.
