During last week’s presidential debate, Biden said that he plans to “transition” away from the oil industry because “the oil industry pollutes significantly.”

“It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time,” Biden continued.

In three separate local news interviews in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania on Saturday, Biden stressed that he will not completely ban fracking, but would only ban fracking on federal land.

Drag marchers spark outrage with ‘we’re coming for your children’ chant at NYC Pride event

LGBTQ activists participating in New York City’s annual Drag March on Friday sparked outrage for chanting “we’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” in a Manhattan park.

The marchers, many wearing flamboyant dresses and clothing, walked through Tompkins Square Park in the East Village Friday night as part of the city’s Pride Month celebrations.

Video of the march shows people laughing and joining in with the cheeky chant — including one dancing topless woman.

An event for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was cut short in Belleville, Ont., on July 20, 2023, after nearly 100 protesters surrounded him and his motorcade.

Trudeau was in the city to mark the seventh anniversary of the Liberal government's Child Care Benefit, to meet with the mayor and to visit a farmers' market.

Protesters showed up at the market outside city hall as Trudeau met with a crowd of community members and took selfies.
