For over an hour I sat in the rain waiting for the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad at County O in Wisconsin, little did I know the train (ELS 402 and ELS 502) was coming from a different direction. What I thought might be a short chase north turned into an afternoon affair when they met up with ELS 503 in Pembine, WI where they swapped engines before both trains continued on their way.
