Rory Gallagher (March 2, 1948 in Ballyshannon, Ireland – June 14, 1995 in London, England) was an Irish blues rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, known for being the founder of the group Taste and for his solo career. Although known for his guitar performances, he is also a saxophonist and harmonica player.
