CI Bobby Quad Surfboard Review in Micro Sized Waves

Got a chance to test out the Bobby Quad. It was tiny during my test window but I think it was a blessing in disguise. The board went extremely well and I had a blast. With its wide tail and flattish rocker, the board proved to be a fantastic groveler. It can be a good board for beginners if sized up and a great board for high end intermediate to advanced. For some intermediate surfers that size their boards bigger, it might seem too tight and boggy. I have read and heard mixed reviews but the common theme with those that dislike teh board seems to be that they are oversized.

Personally, I think it has to do with their fins. The NVS/AIPA pivots might have helped the situation.

Surfer: 5'8" 145lbs
Surfboard: 5'4" x 19 3/8" x 2 3/8" @ 27.4 L
Fins: NVS/AIPA Sequencer and Horseman (pivot and raked for different conditions)
Traction: Not sure, it was a demo board and I didn't look
Leash: FCS 6' Helix
Wetsuit: Volcom 4/3 Modulator
