A new ruling and policy on #socialmedia particularly #youtube in regards to censorship and curation of information may have huge consequences for the 2024 elections. During the 2020 election, several dissenting voices of the Biden administration, and of the left in general, were silenced, shadow-banned, de-monetized, in some cases legitimately banned, censored and even de-platformed. With this change it points to freedom of information and discourse, but many on the right see it as a ploy to help #donaldtrump get the #republican nomination for President because the Biden camp feels they can beat Donald Trump more easily.
