Vigilant Guard 23-3

In partnership with U.S. Northern Command, the National Guard Bureau, the Wyoming National Guard, and Wyoming Office of Homeland Security, Wyoming hosts Vigilant Guard 23-3 from June 12-15, 2023. This full-scale exercise (FSE) included a plane crash scenario at the Northeast Wyoming Regional Airport in Gillette, Wyoming. The purpose of this effort is to provide an opportunity for Federal agencies, State National Guard Joint Forces Headquarters, State Joint Task Forces, and field units to improve command and control, operational relationships, and interoperability with civilian partners. Each scenario was conducted a controlled environment with the assistance from local volunteers who role-played victims, rioters, etc.
