This portion brings a repetition and review so we can remember all that God has done for us and continues to do for His people. Every believer along with physical Israel is bound to the five books of the Torah as we are close to Messiah. He has and is defeating every giant in our lives, when we walk by faith, and we are taking our inheritance promised by God that the enemy has stolen. This is what happened to Israel and this is what is happening to every faith-filled believer in Y'shua our Messiah.
