When semi hydroponics goes wrong, it will go very wrong! After many years of changing the leca ratio in order to make Cattlianthe Sagarik Wax 'African Beauty' thrive in leca and self watering, I have not achieved that! So, before this orchid is too weak to recover, I am intervening with a rescue mission that uses lava rock instead of bark. Same situation, with a wet dry cycle, warmer roots during the winter months, and in 3 years, she should be back to her glorious self! #orchidcare #orchids #orquideas #orchideen
