“Formulaic”

Everyday seems to pass and fade, everyone’s in a big mosaic
Happiness of the rich portrayed, 99% archaic
All the goals seeming one and the same, and the system is too outdated
I am ready to make a change, I don’t wanna live formulaic

Too much to prove, too much too lose, too scared to choose
Why was I so jaded? Transforming into what I hate
I’m glad the feeling faded, so I could learn to seize the day
And get away from my dismay

March along to a different beat, be unique and don’t delay it
Try a hobby without defeat, find the time you can learn to play it
Lots to say to the ones you meet, so long as you don’t spray it
Board the cabin and take a seat, leave a life that is formulaic

Too much to prove, too much too lose, too scared to choose
It will be alright, as long as we don’t judge and fight
The future’s looking bright, as long as we can own tonight
And get away from all the fright

Off the pedestal, on the rise, we tend to get complacent
Educated with open eyes, gain the courage to try and face it
Not a genius but I advise, this is something I think is basic
Take us into the last reprise, opportunity’s here so chase it
