Frank Abagnale was a con man who impersonated numerous professions including claiming he was a pilot and doctor. He was jailed several times for check fraud. Many people label him a liar and say he embellished aspects of his life, which he disputes to this day. In 1980, he wrote a book about his life which was later adapted into the 2002 film 'Catch Me If You Can' starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.
