Long Covid: A Personal Story of Struggle and Survival

For the last 3 years, I have been on a rollercoaster ride that took me from a normal, healthy adult to the brink of death.

Covid Long Haulers feel like the AIDS patients of the 1980s. We are suffering from a new viral disease that medical science does not yet understand or know how to treat. Many have died waiting for a cure.

I had this conversation with my co-host Rick Walker to raise awareness of #LongCovid — it affects both the #vaccinated and the #unvaccinated alike.

There are millions of #Covid Long Haulers now — and there will be many millions more in the years to come. Millions who are no longer able to work will be filing for disability, Social Security and Medicaid coverage. Can our already-crippled healthcare system handle this?
