Strange Looking Object Appears In The River

I was filming some guys on their jet ski's when I noticed this strange object in the river. It was about 100-150 meters away from the far bank, and looked like a real living object peeping out of the river. My other thoughts were it was possibly a strange looking piece of driftwood.I'm not sure if the guys on the jet ski's noticed the object in the water.
