Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well! Now for today's video I want to talk about why Ian Malcolm is so important to Jurassic Park! And the answer to that question can't just be summarized by saying "because he's right." In reality, there was actually a complete character arc for Jeff Goldblum to undergo in The Lost World that would have proved that he actually ISN'T always right! In fact Michael Crichton would even tell the readers of his 1995 sequel novel NOT to listen to Malcolm exclusively. In reality, Ian Malcolm's placement in the franchise as well as it's evolution in to Jurassic World is way more complicated than what some people like to say.
