Remdesivir Dangerously Waived on for Use in Kidney Patients

Gilead's trial failed on feasibility in this population so the FDA should have denied this label expansion request by Gilead. Instead the FDA curried favor to the pharmaceutical giant putting COVID-19 inpatients at risk. Remdesivir has not been shown to reduce mortality in COVID-19 patients and the WHO has recommended against its use since November, 2020.
