GIANT KILLER, Squat Accident Destroyed This Bodybuilder's Career, Jean-Pierre Fux

On May,02, 2002 Jean-Pierre Fux was shooting a photo shoot for FLEX magazine, when the unthinkable happened. With 675 lbs on the bar, Jean squatted the heavy weight for the photographer, but din't come back up, as he had done so many times before. His "Spotters" weren't close enough to grab the bar in time. He tore a vastus medialis on the left thigh, and tore, a patella ligament on the right leg. He was rushed to Eisenhower Medical Center In California. were he was rushed to the emergency room. Jean was Lucky. He remained hospitalized for two weeks before he went home on Mon, May 20, 2002.
