This welding technique is one every welder should have in his back pocket! You’ve seen me do it before, and I use it at least weekly! If one stick won’t fill that gap, that’s right Texas Tig! If your welding in a non code environment this is a great trick when your in a bind, otherwise I always suggest a backing bar if possible, but the situation we have ourselves in today will not allow that. These little welding tips and tricks will go a long way to help you in your welding and fabrication business!
