MZTV 1265: God is Not Exactly Trying to Make Friends

God makes it so humanly impossible to believe in Him (He speaks obtusely; He hides Himself physically; He purposely mistranslates Scripture) that such a course would be unfair and intolerable to accept were it not for the fact that, prior to doting upon His special treasure, He had already bought the entire world by the blood of His Son.
