He is willing and just to forgive if we repent.

Peter, Paul, and many more of the other disciples are just some examples of true believers who once denied Christ. Yet, because of the goodness and forbearance of our Lord and Savior, He said on the Cross, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."
