Professional mistress Lillie Langtry (1853-1929) appears throughout artwork of the Belle Epoque, Edwardian Era and beyond. Photographed by Cecil Beaton the year of her death, painted by Wilde's roommate Frank Miles in her youth, Lillie Langtry had to be the center of attention.
