Richard Lindzen - Global Warming

Richard Lindzen es un físico atmosférico conocido por su trabajo en la dinámica de la atmósfera media, las mareas atmosféricas y la fotoquímica del ozono. Richard Lindzen is an atmospheric physicist known for his work on the dynamics of the middle atmosphere, atmospheric tides, and the photochemistry of ozone. He has published more than 200 scientific articles and books. From 1983 until his retirement in 2013, he was a professor of meteorology at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before MIT, he was a professor of dynamic meteorology at Harvard University. The Dr. Lindzen was the lead author of Chapter 7, "Physical climate Processes and reactions", of the Third Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). His main contribution to the academic literature on anthropogenic climate change is his proposal of the iris hypothesis in 2001. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the Economic Advisory Board of Science, Health and Economics of the Annapolis Center for Public Policy. He is the author of a standard textbook on atmospheric dynamics and co-author of the monograph Atmospheric Tides with Sydney Chapman.
