Royal Enfield vs BMW + Extra Review. No we aren't going mad! Choosing between Interceptor & R 18

We compare the BMW R 18 cruiser motorcycle and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorbike; not as a head-to-head, but for the buying decisions we made, and you may be making, when we eventually went for the BMW R18.

Both are modern classic motorbikes, retro, stylish, simple, minimalistic. One is a giant 1800cc the other a sleek 650cc. Different in many ways but similar in others.
Sometimes we do make comparisons between oranges and apples, or spicy vindaloo or salad, skiing holiday or package tour on the Costa Del Sol. Indeed the Ol' Man himself had both these bikes on his shortlist before making the final choice to buy the BMW R 18.
The video also adds a few more points to our previous review of the Royal Enfield Interceptor which we forgot to mention because we had 6 snow showers during filming and had to pack-away/set-up 6 times, and to clarify the comparison between the Interceptor 650 and the Triumph Bonneville's such as the T100.
