This board is actually a soft top. Unlike other soft tops, the EVA skin is only added to the top of the board. The bottom of the board is actually the epoxy glass of the board which makes this board surf more like a regular board but with some safety built in and comfort and soft padding for trunking it in the summer.

I had a blast. I don't surf mini simmons type boards so it took a bit of getting used and I my bad muscle memory kicked in here and there but overall, it was fun, challenging, but above all else, it caught waves from 3 inches to 3 feet.
