Occupation of Anould and St. Die Sectors (Lorraine), July 14-29, 1918, 5th Division

Y.M.C.A. trucks are loaded on the docks at St. Die. 11th Inf. troops man trenches near Bois Ducos. The 60th Inf. headquarters bldg. at Sierra de Malfosse is repaired. Sentries take up positions. Gen. McMahon and aides attend a reception at Gerardmer given by French Gen. Le Comte on Bastille Day. 5th Div. troops participate in athletic contests (grenade throwing, running, etc.) and receive awards from Gens. McMahon and Wright.
