Brother's Keeper

Sometimes we forget that we have a commission in the body of Christ to be each other's encouragers due to the demands of our own lives. Paul told the Galatian church to fulfill "the law of Christ," that is to bear one another's burdens. This can begin simply by asking a brother or sister: "is there a need I can agree in prayer with you about?" It many times includes simple acts of service like providing a dish of food when they are sick, or offering to do a simple chore for them until they get well.
