LIVE: 2023 NATO Summit in Vilnius - Day 1

The 2023 NATO Summit begins as leaders of member states gather in Vilnius on Tuesday, July 11.

The talks are expected to address the 'most pressing challenges for the alliance' and 'further strengthen NATO's deterrence and defense'.

Issues will include worldwide co-operation, the relationship with Sweden and Ukraine, and continuing support for Kyiv in the conflict with Russia, as well as new regional defense plans, a new force model and a new defense investment pledge.

The two-day event will take place in the Lithuanian capital on July 11-12.
