PM Modi's Remarks on India's Green Growth and Energy Transition at G20 Meet

At the G20 Energy Ministers' Meeting in Goa, Prime Minister Modi highlighted India's efforts towards green growth and energy transition. He pointed out that despite being the most populous and fastest growing large economy, India is strongly committed to meeting its climate goals. The Prime Minister noted that India achieved its target of installing non-fossil fuel based electricity generation capacity nine years ahead of schedule and has set an even higher target for itself.
