Today on this millennial review we're checking out the rigid 18 volt 5 inch orbital sander. This is part number R8606B and this little guy here should work out being a good orbital sander and it runs on the traditional 18 volt lineup from rigid. To go ahead and start using this rigid sander I've got the battery in there, got our little air guard on the back and then I'm going to be using this 3000 grit sandpaper and I'm putting it on a squishy disc here to help with the pressure. Let's get this lined up and it sticks right on with the hook and loop set up and now we're ready to go. Now when you turn this on you're going to have adjustable speed so see that there you've got different speeds that's going to allow you to control the path and the power of this.
