CIRS or Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome is much more common than you might think. A recent report from the EPA details how roughly 85% of building in the US have been struck by water damage

and now the tide is turning in terms of information about the potential dangers of living in a water damaged building. When people cannot adequately clear these toxins, they can develop a multi-system, multi-symptom illness most commonly referred to as mold illness or mold toxicity.

The symptoms of CIRS, mold illness and mold toxicity overlap with the symptoms from chronic tick-borne illness. While the existence of this problem is hotly debated topic in medical circles, ask anyone who has recovered with treatment whether or not it is real!

We are waiting for the research to be disseminated so all practitioners will understand and be able to manage these conditions. On the average, it takes 20 years for new research to filter in to common practice.
