Lessons from Peter [Acts: Leading the Jesus Initiative]

➡️ The Holy Spirit transformed Peter from a fisherman into a leader of the early Christian church, and that same power is available to us, too. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the Apostle Peter and the stories that unfold in the beginning of the book of Acts. After the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples in Acts 2, Peter became bold and able to speak God’s Word with authority and power—even though he had no formal theological training. Watching how Peter spoke truth into a culture that was increasingly intolerant of Christians offers many lessons that can help us navigate our world today.
