This is a very difficult episode to record. I am still not sure if I should have because I am afraid of the reactions that will come as a result. If after reading those books you would like to learn more about my own journey and recovery from abuse, I do have my own series of books which I highly recommend. It is not an easy story to read or hear and so many people are not aware of it. But know that nothing is left out and everything written is true with the exception of some people’s names which have been changed to protect their privacy while also acknowledging the role they played in my story.
