Be Sober

Are you going about life in a careless manner? Do you strive to get a good laugh out of someone? According to scripture this is not the manner of men that we should be. Men of God should be sober, grave, temperate, gentle, meek, and apt to teach: having the fruit of the Spirit (I Timothy 3:1-4; Titus 1:6-9, 2:1-2, 6; Galatians 5:22-23). Men should be speaking those things which become sound doctrine and making sure that a teaching is established and confirmed across the word of God. As the title of this message is "Be Sober" you should understand being sober is thinking with a clear mind. Some things that we should be sober about would be the way we have our conversation (behaviour) in Christ, and also remembering the judgment seat of Christ that we must all appear at. Time is short so get your KJV and sober up!

II Corinthians 5:10 KJV For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
