This, and a band gig? That’s a good few days, friends! Diagnosing the switch was basically process of elimination: the fuse and bulbs are good? Then it must be the switch, which if you read around the interwebs, seems to be almost as common as the turn signal relay in the hazard switch going caput: that is a LOT more expensive to replace!
