Zelda: Twilight Princess Walkthrough Part 69: Race For The Poes!

I attempted to get all 7 remaining Poes before daybreak came so I didn't have to wait longer. Will I be able to do it?

By clearing out the desert of Poes, did I just make a desert even more barren or is it equally empty because they're spirits? O_O
