COPS THINK EATING IN PUBLIC IS A CRIME | MOVE ALONG!!!

This incident happened on April 07, 2023 at approximately 1130, on Essex street pedestrian mall in Salem Massachusetts. As I was listening to the scanner I heard a call coming for a business warning a local homeless man "scooted" down the street. The Salem police department had no problems saying they would do as this business wanted. instead of the right thing and telling the caller there is nothing we can do. That person has every right to sit there and it is actually protected under the constitution. All contact information will be in the pinned comment.
