The premiums on silver eagle coins were extremely high, but they are now coming down. Is it time to start stacking American silver eagles? In my opinion it is possible that silver eagle premiums will come down even more and that there will be a better buying opportunity in a few months. I am not currently stacking silver eagles because I think there are better silver stacking options out there. I still like generic silver, silver bars, silver rounds, and other cheaper silver coins for silver investing.
