🛟 Northern Fleet's search and rescue support forces hold exercise in Arctic

According to the plan of the exercise, a mock vessel wrecked and sank, and its crew members found themselves in the water. The servicemen practised lifting the 'persons in distress' from the sea surface. The victims were taken to rescue vessels and received the necessary medical assistance.

💬 'According to the preliminary results of the exercise, it can be noted that the Northern Fleet has all the necessary forces and means, and most importantly professionalism and experience to provide assistance to those in distress, including in the areas of the Northern Sea Route', - said the Head of the Northern Fleet Search and Rescue Department Captain 1st Rank Mikhail Belov.
