Game On!

So... We've had two of our very much loved chickens killed by a predator this week. We decided we were going to stay up all night if necessary and catch whatever it was that did this! Hubby said he would take first watch last night. He took his camping chair and his 22 Henry and was on a mission!
About 30 minutes later, I walked out to see if he saw anything yet and found him sound asleep LOL I woke him up and told him that I would stay up and watch.
So I got my IR camera out, snagged the Henry, a good flashlight, some munchies, and sat out on our deck (where I'd have the best view of the coop)
While I didn't shoot the killer (not for lack of trying) because I couldn't get a good shot while holding a Henry and a flashlight, I did capture a bunch of critters on video, I was trolled by a stinky skunk, watch an Opossum steal apples from my apple tree, and I found out that the chicken killers are a group of raccoons.
